Listen: The Shins – “September” (B-Side)

Last month, The Shins released “Simple Song,” the lead single from the band’s upcoming studio album Port Of Morrow, along with the announcement that the song will be receiving 7″ honours next week. Today, the band premiered “September,” the official b-side to the 7″ single, along with a visual accompaniment that takes visual cues and inspiration from Jacob Escobedo’s artwork for the Port Of Morrow cover. Real Estate Announce 2012 Spring Tour

With an already busy 2012 touring schedule, New Jersey rock trio Real Estate have announced even more tour dates in support of their sophomore studio album DaysFollowing a performance in Istanbul, the indie outfit will be heading to the U.K. for five shows before heading to France and Belgium. From there, the group will be travelling to Australia and New Zealand before making their way back to North America, where they will be touring from April 3rd to May 1st. As well, included in the North American tour are performances at both weekends of this year’s Coachella Music Festival. Take a look at all of Real Estate’s tour dates after the jump.

Listen: Mr. Dream – “What A Mess” & “The Room”

Next month, Brooklyn rock trio Mr. Dream will be releasing a brand new EP titled Fatherland, the follow up to the band’s debut album Trash Hit, which was released in March of last year. Premiering on Stereogum were two of the EPs seven tracks, titled “What A Mess” and “The Room,” both of which are available to stream below. Following the release of the EP, the trio will be touring across North America alongside Cloud Nothings, with a final show at this year’s SXSW. The Fatherland EP is out on February 28th via God Mode.

Feist Announces Spring Tour

To further support her latest studio album MetalsFeist will be touring throughout North America following performances at both weekends of Coachella Music Festival. Including performances in Phoenix, Austin, Boston and New York, the North American leg ends on May 11th in Burlington, Vermont.

Atlas Sound Announces 2012 Tour Dates

Following a U.S. East Coast tour back in December, Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox, also known for his solo project Atlas Sound, has announced six tour dates throughout North America to further support last year’s ParallaxStarting in Los Angeles on February 24th, the short tour includes a coffee shop show in Binghamton, New York, as well as performances in San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Odd Future Announce 2012 Tour Dates, New Releases

Although the Odd Future hype train has slowed down quite a bit in the last few months, Tyler, The Creator and co. are still hard at work and ready to unleash their antics on the world once again. Following The Internet‘s release of the physical version of Purple Naked Ladies, OFWGKTA are priming to release a slew of mixtapes and LPs. The first release wil the OF Tape Vol. 2, the follow-up to 2008s Odd Future Mixtape, which will feature almost every member of Odd Future and is scheduled to drop on March 20th. The second is Tyler, The Creator’s latest LP Wolf, the follow-up to last year’s Goblin, which will be released sometime this spring. The third is a brand new LP from MellowHype (Left Brain and Hodgy Beats), which is scheduled for this summer.

Along with their slew of releases, the Odd Future crew’s live action TV series Loiter Squad is set to premiere on Adult Swim on March 25th. The group also announced a number of tour dates throughout North America and the UK, where screenings of the TV series, along with a pop-up store, will be featured at each of their upcoming tour dates. WATCH: Florence & The Machine – “Lover To Lover”

Today, Florence & The Machine let loose a live video of them performing the track “Lover To Lover” from their sophomore album Ceremonials. If you’ve ever had the chance to see the band perform live, it’s certainly an audibly and visually amazing experience. With planned performances at this year’s Coachella, New Orleans Jazz Festival as well as a massive worldwide tour, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see Florence Welch belt her magnificently powerful vocals.
